why do you do it every single day?
because i never get tired of the way a new day fills me with hope, because this could be the day, oh please, because i’m always seeking out the change in others i’m trying to see in myself.
for the people who love me so much it humbles me, makes me work to deserve it.
the days that get longer, to meet strangers (talk and talk until they aren’t, not anymore), to remember, to keep every moment close (to revisit it at the end, and hope it paints a picture of my life so beautiful, so blindingly perfect, that when it’s time to go on to whatever meets us all when we die, the good will overcome the bad).
to try and find better ways to say i love you.
The atoms and molecules within you dream they are people.

The first rule is to keep an untroubled spirit. The second is to look things in the face and know them for what they are.
You never waste time when you’re with someone you love. (Dr. Bob Laurette)
With foam and spray and a boundless roar, the sleepless sea calls us toward the shore. The wisdom of all life lives here, where the land and water kiss, a shimmer of waves and wind whispering the secrets of our origins. How easily we are lured by scientific knowledge to measure this mystery– calculating geology, biology, climate. But when an offshore breeze gust life into our lungs, we feel our souls brim with immeasurable passion for the testament of the waters. By simply sitting, listening, breathing, we feel the pull of the tides and the immensity of the sea connecting us to all things.
You need only claim the events of your life to make yourself yours. When you truly possess all you have been and done, which may take some time, you are fierce with reality!

Velocity and intimacy are arch rivals. (Pastor Mark Beeson)
In oneself lies the whole world, and if you know how to LOOK and LEARN, then the door is there and the key is in your hand. Nobody on earth can give you either that key or the door to open…except YOURSELF.
We learn to live consciously through becoming aware of inner and outer events as they are happening. Building a conscious self means becoming increasingly aware of inner events, bodily events and interpersonal events. A conscious self is able to experience in full awareness all the distinctly different components of the self, including feelings, needs, drives and values. A conscious self lives consciously.
